The GSD 22Garmin GSD 22 Sounder is a powerful remote sounder that plugs directly into the Garmin Marine Network for use with our network chartplotters — or into the new Garmin CANet™ for use with the new series chartplotters. Ultrascroll™ technology keeps the display scrolling at live-action speeds, while the unit’s digital design and up to 2 kW of transmit power (depending on transducer used) provide extraordinary target definition and deep water performance. Transmit power and receiver gain automatically adjust to produce excellent shallow water performance as well. The GSD 22 is dual frequency (200/50 kHz) and works with everything from a standard 500 W transom mount transducer to heavy-duty 2 kW thru-hull or in-hull transducers. Reaches depths to 5,000 feet.

Garmin GDL-40 Cellular Weather Receiver

GDL 40 On-Demand Cellular Marine Weather Receiver
Part #: 010-00849-10

The GDL 40 receives data via cellular networks rather than satellites, it can provide weather information at a fraction of the cost. There are no monthly subscription fees, only a small annual activation fee - the first of which is included in the price of the device.

Once you've activated your GDL 40, you can then purchase day passes from the device for just $4.99. A day pass provides you with 24 hours of continuous weather data.

Plug the system into any compatible Garmin chartplotter display and begin accessing on-demand radar, wind speed/direction, surface temperature, warnings, forecasts and much more. Because the system requires you to be within range of a cellular tower, it's an ideal solution for boaters that remain near shore.

In addition to conventional pole or flush surface mounting, the GDL 40 can also be attached to the underside of many fiberglass or wooden decks

NMEA 2000® Transducer Adapter Kit

010-11525-00

With the NMEA 2000 Transducer Adapter Kit, you can save both time and money by upgrading your depth transducer to NMEA 2000 without hauling your boat out of the water. Use our kit to adapt depth information, which is currently provided by an installed Airmar® P19 (or compatible) 200 kHz transducer on a boat, to the NMEA 2000 network. Once adapted, you can observe depth information on compatible Garmin display devices that are connected to their NMEA 2000 network.

This flagship marine navigator is missing just one thing — buttons. The GPSMAP 5212 features an unprecedented touchscreen interface, along with preloaded BlueChart g2 maps of the U.S. coast and a whopping 12.1" screen that makes navigation as easy as pointing your finger. By connecting to the Garmin Marine Network, you can add sonar, radar and weather. For even more advanced features, you can add the optional BlueChart® g2 Vision card.

View Detailed Graphics and Video

The GPSMAP 5212 features highly-detailed BlueChart g2 marine cartography of the coastal United States, including Alaska, Hawaii and the Bahamas. For other areas, the 5212 has a worldwide basemap with high-quality satellite images in place of more traditional maps. With the SD™ card slot, you can add additional maps without having to connect to a computer.

The 5212’s huge XGA screen displays graphics with crisp, video-quality resolution. To keep tabs on your engine room or other area of your boat, you can also connect a live video feed with the 5212's video input/output options.

Add Extras with BlueChart g2 Vision

With the optional BlueChart g2 Vision SD card, you can add a whole new dimension of exceptional features to your chartplotter.

  • 3D mariner's eye view or fish eye view provides you with a 3-dimensionsl perspective of map information, both above the waterline and below it.
  • High-resolution satellite images and aerial photographs help you orient yourself in unfamiliar areas.
  • Auto Guidance technology searches through all relevant charts to create a route you can actually follow — one that avoids obstacles, shallow water, buoys and other obstructions.

Connect to the Garmin Marine Network

The 5212 connects easily to the high-speed Garmin Marine Network, so you can interface with additional MFDs and add remote sensors. Once connected, you can share information between the 5212 and other chartplotters on your boat. You can also add high-powered radar, sonar, and XM satellite weather and radio to your system.
